PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Travis Light, the owner of Strive Sports Medicine PT, has a passion for helping athletes recover, and getting them back to playing quickly and safely.

Dr. Light was first inspired to become a physical therapist after attending PT after his mother had knee surgery. Now, Dr. Light has experience working with the area’s high school and college athletes while practicing in an orthopedic PT clinic. He incorporates the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment methods in his multifaceted approach to treating the modern athlete. Not only that, but he’s the only physical therapist in the Salisbury area that is certified by the State of Maryland to practice dry needling.

Dr. Light earned his BS in Health Sciences and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degrees at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA. He’s a former NCAA athlete, ice hockey player, and multi-distance triathlete.

In his free time, Dr. Light likes to spend time relaxing with friends, traveling, and attending games at Salisbury University.
